Arkansas Trailer Mfg. Co., Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Data Entry Clerk to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate entry and updating of payroll data, supporting payroll processing by maintaining precise employee records and assisting with payroll operations across multiple locations or departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter employee hours, overtime, and pay changes into the payroll system.
• Review timecards and timesheets for accuracy, completeness, and proper approvals.
• Process additions, changes, and terminations in employee payroll records.
• Enter and verify earnings, bonuses, deductions, and benefit-related adjustments.
• Assist with preparing pre-payroll reports and audit lists for management review.
• Resolve discrepancies in hours, pay rates, or deductions efficiently.
• Maintain payroll files and digital documentation in an organized manner.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, escalating as necessary.
• Support payroll processing for multiple locations or departments as assigned.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll and employee information.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in payroll support, HR support, or data entry preferred.
• Basic understanding of payroll concepts.
• Experience with payroll systems or HRIS is a plus.
