We’re Hiring — Payroll Coordinator (Remote / U.S.)
Concentric is a global risk and intelligence consultancy that provides security, threat intelligence, and resilience services to private and corporate clients. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our Corporate People/Finance team supporting U.S. payroll operations. This role offers remote work from within the United States while partnering closely with People Operations and Finance.
JOB SUMMARY
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policy.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll questions from employees and managers, and maintain payroll data with strict confidentiality.
- Reconcile payroll data, produce payroll reports, and support audits and process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll and ensure all payroll cycles run smoothly.
- Maintain payroll records for hires, terminations, deductions, and compensation changes.
- Review and reconcile payroll reports and prepare supporting documentation for transactions.
- Respond to employee inquiries about pay, taxes, and payroll policies in a timely, professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with wage, tax, and overtime regulations across jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with People Operations and Finance on reporting, audits, and payroll system upgrades.
- Support special projects, process improvements, and other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience with payroll administration and payroll systems (experience with UKG preferred).
- Solid understanding of payroll regulations and best practices.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
- Prior experience with UKG Ready or similar payroll platforms.
- Familiarity with HR/benefits data and willingness to learn new systems.
- Positive, can-do attitude and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Seattle, Washington Pay Range: $28.50 – $30.00 USD per hour.
