The Opportunity

The Payroll Coordinator performs a variety of record-keeping, time-tracking, and payroll processing activities. Although duties normally follow established procedures, responsibilities may include routine and minor corrections to make documents acceptable for processing.

Day in the life

  • Process employee payroll and time tracking data in Workday, including but not limited to getting approval and updating records.
  • Calculate timesheet data to ensure compliance with Federal and State laws.
  • Provides payroll and time tracking information by answering questions and requests.
  • Review and process tax and payment elections submitted by employees.
  • Create documentation on payroll procedures.
  • Assist with payroll entries.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties related to payroll processing.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Responsible for reporting risks identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, you are responsible for managing, monitoring, and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to, Information Security risks.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for full-time employees to perform all their duties effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate’s degree in Business preferred.
  • 1 year or more of Human Resources and/or Payroll experience.
