The organization is now seeking a highly detail-oriented and compliance-focused Payroll Analyst to manage and optimize end-to-end US payroll operations. The role requires strong expertise in Workday Payroll systems, multi-state payroll processing, and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution across the organization.
This position plays a key role in maintaining payroll accuracy, supporting audits, improving payroll systems, and partnering with HR and Finance teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process biweekly payroll for US employees using Workday Payroll system.
• Validate earnings, deductions, taxes, and garnishments for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Manage multi-state payroll processing and tax allocation requirements.
• Support internal and external payroll audits, ensuring full compliance readiness.
• Prepare and review year-end reporting including W-2 forms and tax documents.
• Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve system-related issues.
• Collaborate with HR and Benefits teams to ensure accurate data integration.
• Maintain and enhance payroll reports, dashboards, and calculated fields in Workday.
• Analyze payroll variances and identify root causes of discrepancies.
• Support payroll reconciliations and financial reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within payroll operations.
• Document payroll procedures, controls, and compliance workflows.
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, and payroll-related implementations.
Requirements:
• 5–7+ years of experience in US payroll processing.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Workday Payroll system.
• Strong expertise in multi-state payroll compliance and tax regulations.
• Solid understanding of US labor laws, IRS requirements, and wage compliance.
• Experience handling payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with ADP SmartCompliance and payroll integration tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
