Description:

Sysco is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst specializing in US payroll tax operations. The role focuses on ensuring full compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all payroll tax activities, including reporting, reconciliation, audits, and system improvements.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in multi-state payroll tax regulations and experience working with systems such as ADP Tax Services and Workday Payroll. This role requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage high-volume transactions while meeting strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all payroll tax activities are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Manage tax filings including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for US and Puerto Rico employees

• Prepare and distribute W-2 and W-2C forms in accordance with regulations

• Update and maintain federal, state, and local tax rates in payroll systems

• Investigate and resolve tax inquiries, audits, and agency notices

• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement process improvements

• Assist in payroll tax projects, system testing, and implementations

• Maintain payroll documentation, SOPs, and process controls

• Support training and knowledge sharing within payroll teams

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of US payroll tax experience

• Hands-on experience with ADP Tax Services and Workday Payroll

• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll taxation

• High School Diploma required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

• Ability to work independently in remote or office environments
