Harris Computer is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join its US Payroll team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll operations for a large employee base across multiple states while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The selected candidate will be responsible for processing biweekly payroll, maintaining payroll accuracy, handling deductions, and supporting HR and finance teams with payroll-related matters. This position also involves performing audits, improving payroll processes, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process biweekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple US states

• Manage payroll components including wages, deductions, garnishments, and terminations

• Handle payroll-related HR coordination including benefits, onboarding, and leave management

• Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and process tax payments accurately

• Perform payroll audits and resolve discrepancies efficiently

• Assist in reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts

• Recommend improvements to payroll systems and internal procedures

• Provide support and customer service for payroll-related inquiries

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience

• Experience with large payroll systems such as ADP, Ceridian, or Workday

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Strong knowledge of:
