Description:
GNC, a global leader in health and wellness since 1935, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Administrator to support the operational execution of timekeeping processes across the organization. This role will provide critical first-pass support for Payroll and HR teams while ensuring accurate tracking and management of employee time data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the Timekeeping Shared Inbox, responding to inquiries from store managers, HRBPs, and Payroll teams
  • Maintain employee profiles, pay rule assignments, and schedule templates in ADP eTime or Kronos Workforce systems
  • Track new hire onboarding, location transfers, and offboarding processes to ensure accurate punch access and supervisor mapping
  • Perform routine audits for missing punches, unapproved timecards, and scheduling exceptions
  • Escalate system issues or approval delays to HRIS leadership and coordinate with ADP Support for resolution
  • Maintain logs for open tickets and audit flags, ensuring follow-through until resolution
  • Assist in testing during system upgrades or configuration changes, including new location setups
  • Support documentation efforts including how-to guides, SOPs, and manager tipsheets
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days in-office at Pittsburgh, PA and remaining remote work
  • Work involves sitting, standing, walking, handling office equipment, and extended computer usage
  • Requires visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data, reading, and using computer screens
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally and perform repetitive motions of hands and wrists

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Time & Attendance, Payroll, or HR Operations
  • Proficient in ADP eTime/Workforce Manager or Kronos Workforce Ready/Dimensions
  • Knowledge of scheduling, missed punch workflows, and labor level mapping
  • Basic understanding of federal and state labor laws related to timekeeping
  • Intermediate Excel skills (filters, lookups, pivot tables)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and task management skills
  • Experience supporting multi-location hourly workforce (retail, warehouse, distribution center)
  • Familiarity with ticketing/tracking tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet)
  • Exposure to workforce scheduling tools or mobile punch solutions
