Description:
Restaurant365, a leading SaaS company transforming the restaurant industry, is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist to join our remote team. This role focuses on handling Payroll ACH functions and ensuring clients have a seamless experience with Restaurant365 Payroll. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, strong multitasking skills, and excellent interpersonal communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate and process ACH transactions including payroll direct deposits, vendor payments, bill payments, and garnishments following established procedures and deadlines.
- Stay updated with NACHA guidelines and other ACH regulations to ensure compliance.
- Investigate and resolve ACH transaction exceptions, such as returns, reversals, and corrections, maintaining accurate records.
- Utilize payroll software for efficient transaction management.
- Review ACH transactions for accuracy and compliance before processing.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies, payment errors, and customer inquiries promptly.
- Generate and reconcile reports, ensuring transactions align with bank statements.
- Maintain security and confidentiality of all ACH data.
- Identify opportunities to automate payroll processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on ACH and payroll matters.
- Assist in internal and external audits with proper payroll documentation.
- Monitor and mitigate potential ACH fraud in collaboration with security teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years in banking, payroll, finance, accounting, or related work experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
