Description:
CHUNK BAKEHOUSE is currently looking for a dependable and detail-focused Pastry Dispatcher with hands-on Commis-level pastry experience to become part of our kitchen operations team in Dubai. This role is ideal for someone who understands pastry workflows and can ensure smooth, accurate, and timely dispatch of baked items while maintaining top-quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, portion, pack, and dispatch pastry products based on daily orders
- Ensure correct labeling, accurate quantities, and proper presentation of all items
- Coordinate closely with the pastry kitchen and delivery teams to meet dispatch timelines
- Support basic pastry preparation tasks as required at Commis level
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dispatch and storage areas
- Adhere strictly to food safety guidelines, HACCP standards, and company SOPs
- Immediately report any shortages, damages, or quality concerns to supervisors
Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a Commis Pastry or in a similar pastry-related role in Dubai
- Good understanding of pastry handling, storage methods, and food safety practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Detail-oriented team player with a responsible work attitude
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as per operational needs
