Description:

FieldCore, a GE Vernova company, is looking to bring onboard a Remote Outage Advisor IV – GE GT HA Mechanical to join their global support team. This is a remote role designed for seasoned professionals who can provide expert guidance and technical support for gas turbine outages, upgrades, and installations worldwide. You will be an integral part of the Remote Outage Support team, offering real-time assistance to FieldCore and GE Vernova Field Engineers to help drive successful execution on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a remote expert for GE HA-class Gas Turbine mechanical systems, supporting Field Engineers globally during field outages, installations, and uprates
• Troubleshoot technical issues and guide on-site teams through mechanical challenges in real-time
• Collaborate closely with the Product Service Engineering Quick Response Center (QRC) to align field needs with engineering support processes
• Assist in cross-training initiatives to create a more versatile and cohesive technical team
• Support development and implementation of digital tools and IT platforms used in the field
• Contribute to the refinement and creation of technical documents, templates, forms, and procedures
• Work with Engineering and other cross-functional teams to improve serviceability of new products and tools
• Help enhance technical training programs in partnership with FieldCore Training
• Maintain strict adherence to GE/FieldCore safety policies and standards in all advisory efforts
• Prepare detailed reports including technical write-ups, job status updates, and time/expense documentation
• Continue personal and team development in technical knowledge and best practices
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 20% as needed for support and training

Preferred Skills & Attributes:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with power generation equipment during outages or major projects
• Background in Legacy Steam Turbines or Generators is a plus
• Strong understanding of global resource management and logistics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to function well both independently and as part of a virtual, globally distributed team
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and willingness to mentor junior engineers
• Familiarity with Field Engineering Programs (GE employees) and strong project management competencies

Compensation & Benefits:
This salaried position falls within the annual pay range of $88,800 to $146,400, based on experience and location. It is classified as exempt from overtime. FieldCore provides a competitive benefits package including:
