Description:
MasTec Communications Group is seeking a dedicated Operations Support Coordinator to join our team in Sacramento, CA. At MasTec Network Solutions, we focus on building innovative communications solutions, supporting data, voice, and IP networks for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Upload job attachments, designs, as-builts, permits, and job-related communications into Remedy and P2 systems.
- Review issuance packages to confirm all necessary documentation and requirements are included.
- Ensure close-out packages meet client specifications for job completion.
- Maintain job tracking and proactively communicate risks or issues impacting projects.
- Assist in preparing job closing packages for submission.
- Lead daily huddles to review ongoing project pipelines.
- Train and coach Level 1 and Level 2 Construction Support Specialists.
- Co-conduct client meetings with Coordinators and Supervisors to review job progress.
- Support client communications, providing clear updates on job statuses and potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Commitment to safety in daily operations.
- Strong track record of delivering high-quality work.
- Problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach.
- Interest in long-term project involvement.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with team members.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in supporting construction operations.
- Previous administrative experience in Cable TV operations is highly preferred.
- Skilled at reviewing and evaluating job documentation for accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Strong administrative experience.
- Must be based in Sacramento, CA.
- This is a remote-friendly position.
