We’re seeking a dedicated Operations Specialist to join our team and play a key role in managing financial operations, partner support, and reconciliation processes. This role provides the opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for MoneyGram’s partners, resolving complex issues involving reconciliation, research, risk, compliance, and customer inquiries.
- Oversee reconciliation of unmatched settlements for assigned financial institutions, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Research and analyze item exceptions, resolving them within service level agreements to minimize financial risk and maintain accurate documentation.
- Act as the key contact for financial institutions, addressing high-dollar adjustments, reconciling complex accounts, and mitigating financial impacts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, etc.) and external partners to implement process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and improve service delivery.
- Manage inventory at agent and supplier/warehouse locations, assign inventory ranges, track destroyed or lost stock, assist with training new employees, and ensure outsourced functions meet SLAs and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in settlement reconciliation, inventory management, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
- Experience with MoneyGram products, POS systems, or financial institutions preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across multiple channels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other financial systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, audit requirements, and risk mitigation practices.
- Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
