Transportation Insight is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Operations Specialist to support its logistics operations. The selected candidate will assist in order processing, shipment coordination, and customer support, while ensuring smooth day-to-day activities within the supply chain. This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to contribute in a fast-paced logistics environment on a part-time schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Assist with order entry and verification, resolving discrepancies when necessary.
- Shipment Coordination: Track and coordinate shipments to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries, while liaising with carriers and internal departments.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain accurate records in logistics management systems and assist in preparing shipping/operational documents.
- Customer Service: Support customer service teams by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Problem Resolution: Work with team members to identify challenges and apply corrective measures.
- Reporting: Compile and generate basic operational reports, contributing to performance monitoring and analysis.
Job Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework in logistics or related fields is a plus.
- Prior experience in logistics, operations, or customer service is highly desirable.
