Position Overview:

The Operations Specialist will work in a remote capacity and will be responsible for managing local interactions with Eclipse, Irby’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool, while monitoring Eclipse Queues, sales management tools, and other software resources.

This role involves providing field assistance to assigned branch locations as needed. Key responsibilities include monitoring each branch’s process flows to ensure efficiency, using Queues, Dashboards, and Reports to identify areas for improvement, and collaborating with local branch leadership to close gaps, train associates, and establish best practices.

Responsibilities

• National Travel: Significant travel (~40%) for projects, training, and field support.
• Branch Collaboration: Work collaboratively with branches to enhance profitability, productivity, and cash flow using various Eclipse Queues, Dashboards, and Tools.
• Training: Conduct in-person and remote training sessions with associates on effective Operations Tool utilization.
• Data Provision: Provide specific data to managers to help identify areas of operational focus.
• Onsite Assistance: Assist Irby locations with operational objectives, including new branch startups, installation of operations-related resources, and implementation of new processes and procedures.
• System Support: Provide Eclipse system support to field teams, including troubleshooting access issues, investigating queues, and aiding new-user setup.
• Weekly Reviews: Conduct weekly reviews of all assigned branches using the provided tools.
• Partnership: Partner with local management and senior leadership to conduct monthly reviews with branches requiring attention, including specific action items and follow-up to review progress.
• SOP Documentation: develop, maintain, & revise ERP SOP documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with current processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively, train team members, and provide clear guidance and direction; skilled in fostering teamwork and building strong professional relationships.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
• Strong documentation skills, with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, consistently meeting schedules and deadlines.
• Strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills, capable of planning and prioritizing tasks to align with business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Eclipse/Solar ERP platform is strongly preferred.
• Three tofive years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
