This role focuses on strengthening operations across HR, IT, contracting, and program administration. About the Role
The Operations Manager will design and manage tools, policies, and workflows that connect our people and projects—from hiring and onboarding to IT infrastructure, contracts, and logistics. This role involves building new systems, improving existing ones, and overseeing daily operations such as recruitment, vendor coordination, policy drafting, and technology troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document operational systems across HR, IT, and program support
- Implement digital collaboration tools to enhance communication and security
- Manage contracts, procurement, and vendor relationships
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration
- Coordinate team schedules, travel, and event logistics
- Maintain IT systems and ensure data security
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to align operational and financial systems
Required Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of experience in operations, HR, or administration
- Proven ability to improve systems and workflows
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and procurement
- Technological fluency with Google Workspace, CRMs, or project tools
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- High discretion and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HR platforms or benefits administration systems
- Experience in climate or policy-focused organizations
- Background supporting senior leadership or board operations
