The Role: Operations Manager

We’re hiring a detail-obsessed, systems-driven Operations Manager to join the operations take and take ownership of SalesGenius’ internal operations.

This is not a client-facing or agency fulfillment role. You’ll be working directly with the executive team to build and maintain the internal systems that keep the company running at peak performance.

You’ll be responsible for streamlining processes, managing internal SOPs, tracking finances, helping manage hiring funnels, and optimizing the backend operations of a fast-moving marketing company.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and update all internal SOPs in Notion
  • Maintain internal financial records and generate MRR reports
  • Oversee Stripe payments, ensure data integrity, and resolve payment failures
  • Track client payments, missed charges, and flag overdue accounts
  • Support HR processes including hiring funnel setup, onboarding, and employee contract tracking
  • Create and maintain job descriptions, hiring forms, and applicant databases
  • Identify inefficiencies in operations and make strategic recommendations to improve workflows
  • Help coordinate internal team planning, hiring needs, and interdepartmental communications
  • Forecast monthly income targets and assist with budgeting and expense tracking
  • Set up and manage tools like DocuSign, PandaDoc, or other contract platforms
  • Help organize team events and ensure all logistics and tech needs are accounted for
  • Work closely with founders to support ongoing ops priorities and reduce unnecessary spend

You’re a Fit If You…

  • Have 3–5+ years of operations or internal support experience (agency, startup, or remote team background preferred)
  • Are an expert in Notion—this is mandatory. You’ve built and managed dashboards, wikis, trackers, and SOPs inside Notion
  • Know Stripe inside and out, and can spot issues in payment flows and clean up client data
  • Are tech-savvy and experienced with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Drive, e-signature platforms, and CRM tools
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and structure
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and love solving operational bottlenecks
  • Are comfortable working independently and taking initiative to fix what’s broken
  • Can manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Are comfortable helping with financial forecasting, internal metrics, and reporting
  • Are highly organized and pride yourself on keeping everything running like clockwork

  • SOPs across all departments are current, accessible, and maintained in Notion
  • Internal operations are running smoothly—reducing friction and improving productivity
  • Financial records and forecasts are clean, timely, and accurate
  • Client payments and payment failures are tracked and resolved quickly
  • Hiring funnels are well-managed, job boards are updated, and new team members are seamlessly onboarded
  • The executive team can rely on your reports and insights to drive better decision-making
