Description:
Step Up is seeking a highly organized and strategic Operations Manager, Development to join our team and support the advancement of fundraising operations. Step Up empowers high school girls and young women (ages 14–29) facing systemic barriers to define and pursue success on their own terms through mentorship, programming, and community engagement.

The Operations Manager, Development will serve as the operational backbone of the fundraising team, bridging back-end data management with front-line donor and corporate relations. This position is responsible for ensuring the health of the donor database, managing gift processing, financial reconciliation, and supporting individual donor, foundation, corporate, and event-based fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Development Operations + Database Management
• Serve as primary administrator for the donor CRM, maintaining data integrity, managing duplicates, and ensuring accurate gift coding.
• Process donations (checks, wires, credit cards, stock) efficiently within 48 hours.
• Track and manage pledges, generating invoices and reminders for major donors and corporate sponsors.
• Create dashboards, generate weekly revenue reports, and prepare custom lists for appeals and events.
• Liaise with Finance for monthly reconciliations and alignment of development and finance records.
• Track and report on matching donations accurately.

Corporate Partnership Strategy + Pipeline Development
• Ensure corporate sponsors receive agreed-upon benefits, including marketing recognition and employee engagement opportunities.
• Act as primary contact for mid-level corporate supporters and manage beneficiary partner relationships.
• Assist in preparing partnership/sponsorship decks and pitch materials.
• Coordinate impact reporting to corporate partners and foundations, ensuring visibility of ROI.
• Prospect new corporate partnership opportunities and manage inquiries from the corporate partner interest form.
• Implement stewardship matrices and maintain annual donor touchpoints.
• Stay informed of corporate funding trends to position Step Up proactively.

One Step Up Support
• Represent Step Up at local, regional, and national events.
• Support cross-functional projects and collaborative working groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational priorities.

Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in non-profit development, operations, or corporate relations.
• Advanced proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred), Canva, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Comfortable reviewing sponsorship agreements and liaising with corporate CSR representatives.
• Experience managing donor benefits and sponsorship fulfillment.
• Strong writing and communication skills to professionally represent the organization to donors and partners.
