We are looking for a Remote Operations Engineer to take charge of evening operations for Akaysha’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the first point of contact for both internal teams and external partners, ensuring system reliability, peak performance, and smooth operational continuity. Your responsibilities will include resolving complex operational issues, responding to alarms, and assisting onsite teams to keep everything running seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor system health using SCADA, EMS, HMI, and proprietary control platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve operational alarms, system issues, and performance deviations.
• Serve as the primary contact during operational hours for all project-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate, real-time operational logs for effective shift handovers.
• Communicate updates and coordinate troubleshooting efforts with field service teams and ROC partners.
• Escalate urgent issues with clarity and precision.
• Document operational processes and troubleshooting procedures.
• Support continuous improvement by providing structured feedback to refine operational standards.
• Coordinate with ISO, grid operators, and emergency response teams when required.

What You Bring:

• Proficiency with StackOS control systems, CCUI navigation, and device management.
• Strong understanding of StackOS applications for multiple device types across platforms.
• Experience with HMI and PST command lines for troubleshooting and command execution.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, read IP addresses, and manage devices directly.
• Skilled at prioritizing issues, managing escalations, and staying composed under pressure.
• Effective communicator with experience using platforms like SharePoint, Slack, Teams, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as JIRA for workflow tracking and documentation creation.
