Description:
Nutrafol is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Operations Associate to join their rapidly growing team. This role is integral to supporting operational excellence across DTC, B2B, and retail channels, coordinating with third-party fulfillment centers, shipping carriers, customer experience teams, supply chain, and offshore teams. The position operates on a Tuesday–Saturday schedule (8:30am to 5:30pm ET) to ensure coverage during peak business periods.
Role Responsibilities:
DTC Responsibilities:
- Perform daily fraud screening on orders and flag for secondary verification when necessary.
- Manage E-commerce, Fraud, Payment Gateway, and 3PL systems (Magento, Kount, Authorize.net, PayPal preferred).
- Handle fulfillment and shipping issues, liaising with 3PL vendors.
- Troubleshoot system issues raised by the customer experience team.
- Triage new projects and issues internally before escalating to the development team.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate tracking reporting.
- Manage order errors, returns, and documentation for chargebacks.
- Liaise with the Card Processing Team for account-specific matters.
- Support tasks for B2B and Retail channels as needed.
B2B Responsibilities:
- Resolve fulfillment and shipping issues in collaboration with the fulfillment center.
- Ensure verified orders are reviewed, released, and fulfilled promptly.
- Coordinate with the Business Services Executive Team on shipping issues escalated by the Business Development Manager.
- Investigate potential order errors, returns, and chargebacks.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of operations experience with hands-on technical skills.
- Knowledge of e-commerce business models, including fulfillment, shipping, customer service, and business processes.
- Familiarity with Kount, Magento, Shopify, Skubana, or Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience analyzing and documenting functional requirements for e-commerce projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to execute self-directed projects.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
- Willingness to travel in-state and out-of-state for on-site audits and 3PL visits.
