We are seeking an Operations Associate who is technically skilled, flexible, and ready to wear multiple hats. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, self-motivated, and possesses strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work weekends are essential.
The Operations Associate will collaborate with third-party fulfillment centers, shipping carriers, customer experience teams, supply chain teams, and offshore teams. This full-time role operates Tuesday–Saturday, 8:30am–5:30pm ET, to ensure coverage during peak business periods.
Role Responsibilities:
DTC
- Conduct daily fraud-screening and verify flagged orders.
- Manage E-commerce, Fraud, Payment Gateway, and 3PL Systems (Magento, Kount, Authorize.net, PayPal preferred).
- Handle all fulfillment/shipping issues and liaise with 3PL vendors.
- Assist customer experience teams with system issues.
- Triage new projects and escalate as needed to the development team.
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled and tracked in the system timely.
- Manage order errors and returns.
- Coordinate with Card Processing Team for account specifics and chargebacks.
- Learn and support B2B and retail channel operations.
B2B
- Resolve fulfillment/shipping issues with the fulfillment center.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of all orders.
- Review and release verified orders.
- Collaborate with Business Services Executive Team on escalated shipping issues.
- Triage and investigate order errors, returns, and chargebacks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 2-5 years of operations experience with hands-on technical skills.
- Knowledge of ecommerce business models including fulfillment, shipping, and customer service.
- Experience with Kount, Magento, Shopify, Skubana, or Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, process orientation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage projects under tight deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with operational skills for self-directed projects.
- Effective interaction with internal business teams across multiple levels.
- Willingness to travel in-state and out-of-state for audits and 3PL visits.
- Flexible to accommodate after-hours coverage if needed.
Salary Range:
$60,000 – $65,000 USD
