Role Overview:


Saudi German Hospital Dubai is looking for a skilled and experienced Nursing Manager to lead its Emergency Department. This is a high-responsibility position that combines clinical leadership with operational oversight — ideal for a nurse manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and can drive quality, safety and team performance.

Requirements:

  • DHA-licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in an emergency leadership role.
  • Experience working in a JCI-accredited hospital is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day ED operations, ensuring clinical workflows run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered emergency care and uphold clinical standards.
  • Supervise, coach and mentor ER nursing staff; manage rostering, performance and professional development.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with DHA, JCI and internal hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor departmental performance, staffing needs and resource utilization; implement improvements where needed.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary responses during critical incidents and complex emergency cases.
  • Develop and run training programs and emergency preparedness drills to maintain readiness across the team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong clinical judgment and demonstrated leadership in emergency settings.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse nursing team while maintaining compassionate patient care.
