Description:
A well-established Audit & Consulting firm in Dubai is looking to hire a detail-oriented and experienced Mid-Level Accountant to join its growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in financial reporting, compliance, and audit support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a professional services environment with exposure to multiple industries and advisory assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, maintain general ledger, and perform account reconciliations
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports in a timely manner
• Support internal and external audit assignments along with statutory compliance work
• Assist in VAT filing, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, risks, and areas for improvement
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and implementation of financial controls
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams for smooth accounting deliverables
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, UAE regulations, and internal policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in audit or consulting firms
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance frameworks
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and regulations is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
• ACCA, CA Inter, or CPA (part-qualified or qualified) is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, and client management skills
