Job Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Remote Medical Scheduler to join our team. The role focuses on managing appointment scheduling, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating effectively with clients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and the ability to work efficiently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule appointments for clients using the company’s scheduling software
• Communicate with clients to confirm appointment details and gather necessary information
• Accurately enter and update appointment data in the system
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure a smooth scheduling process
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information at all times
• Track appointment cancellations and make necessary schedule adjustments
• Follow up with clients to remind them of upcoming appointments
• Assist with additional administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a medical scheduler or in a related role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficient in using scheduling software
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
