Description:
TRA Medical Imaging is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Medical Scheduler to join our remote team. This role is ideal for professionals with prior medical office experience who excel at multitasking and handling high call volumes. You’ll play a vital role in coordinating patient procedures and ensuring accurate scheduling within a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, communicating clearly with patients, providers, and insurers.
• Schedule and pre-register outpatient imaging procedures accurately.
• Verify and document insurance, demographic, and clinical details for each patient.
• Comply with all authorization, HIPAA, and confidentiality protocols.
• Maintain consistency in documentation and support team workflows efficiently.

Qualifications:
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3 years working in a medical office or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of radiology procedures, insurance processes, scheduling systems, and medical terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using multiple software systems, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Prior experience working remotely is highly preferred.
