Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Medical Coder to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical diagnoses and procedures in alignment with Department of Health (DoH) and insurance regulations, ensuring precision in billing, claims, and documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review medical records to verify accuracy and completeness of documentation
- Assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes following AAPC and DoH standards
- Ensure compliance with insurance and healthcare regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to clarify unclear or incomplete documentation
- Prepare coded data for billing, insurance claims, and audits
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all patient records
- Support audit readiness and internal reviews to ensure compliance
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and UAE insurance systems
- Familiarity with DoH documentation standards and healthcare compliance requirements
