Description:
NTT DATA North America is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Claims Processor to join our team remotely. This role offers the opportunity to work on U.S.-based projects, helping streamline and process healthcare claims efficiently while maintaining compliance and high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process professional claim forms submitted by providers
• Review insurance policies and benefits for accuracy
• Comply with HIPAA, confidentiality, and PHI regulations
• Complete company and client compliance training on time
• Research, review, and adjudicate claims independently
• Prioritize and manage claims to meet turnaround times/SLAs
• Follow client-defined workflows and guidelines for claim adjudication
• Maintain client productivity and quality targets to avoid penalties
• Sustain quality scores above 98.5% PA and 99.75% FA
• Respond promptly to claims received via email as priority
• Correctly calculate payable amounts based on methodology/fee schedule
• Apply problem-solving, research, and analysis skills effectively
• Manage time efficiently in a complex and changing work environment
• Communicate professionally both orally and in writing
Required Skills/Experience:
• 1+ year hands-on experience in Healthcare Claims Processing
• Experience in P&Q work environments and remote work from queue
• 2+ years of computer use with Windows applications, keyboarding, navigating multiple systems, and learning new software
• Proficiency with MS Office products – Outlook, Word, Excel
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Amisys and/or Xcelys systems
