Description:
CareStream Advisory Group is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to manage medical billing processes, liaise with payers, and ensure accurate and timely claim submissions while supporting the organization’s revenue cycle initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contact insurance payers to check the status of medical claims and follow up on denied or partially paid claims.
• Gather payer requirements to ensure timely adjudication of claims.
• File claims with complete and accurate documentation.
• Process incoming and outgoing correspondence related to claims as assigned.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and assist in reviewing and appealing disputed claims.
Required Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of professional experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding standards.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate issues and propose corrective actions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working directly with insurance companies and understanding medical billing workflows.
• Familiarity with error and denial trends in claims management.
