Description:
Niagara Bottling is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Manager to lead and enhance the development of Manufacturing Technology Specialists across our plants. This role focuses on training delivery, instructional design, continuous improvement, and integration of new technology to optimize manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and oversee training programs for Manufacturing Technology staff, including on-the-job training and curriculum development
  • Collaborate with OEMs on new technology implementation and training requirements
  • Develop instructional materials for inventory systems, operations, and equipment-specific troubleshooting
  • Monitor line efficiencies and identify high-risk areas; create written training plans to address issues
  • Conduct annual audits and skills assessments to maintain learning systems and certifications
  • Support plant continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Six Sigma and structured problem-solving tools
  • Facilitate progression planning and performance management for technical teams
  • Work with suppliers and plant management to resolve non-conformance issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in manufacturing, business analysis, or adult learning theory
  • 4+ years managing people/projects; combination of education and experience considered
  • Preferred: 10+ years in similar manufacturing environment and role
  • Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and ability to train and develop teams
  • Effective communication skills and leadership aligned with Niagara’s LIFE competency model
  • ATD Certification preferred; Spanish proficiency is a plus
