About the Role:
A Dubai-based organization is seeking an experienced Managing Accountant to take on a senior-level finance leadership position. This role is suited for a highly skilled accounting professional capable of overseeing complex financial operations across multiple business entities, including LLC and Free Zone Establishments (FZE). The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining financial control, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of accounting operations, financial reporting, and bookkeeping activities across multiple entities
- Lead external and internal audit processes while ensuring accurate preparation of financial statements
- Manage payment processes, cash flow planning, and fund movements efficiently
- Coordinate with investors and stakeholders regarding financial matters and reporting requirements
- Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and KYC procedures
- Support board-level reporting and corporate governance activities
- Collaborate closely with international teams to maintain smooth financial operations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of professional accounting experience managing multiple entities (LLC and FZE structures)
- Strong expertise in financial controllership, reporting, and operational finance management
- Hands-on experience using Xero accounting software
- Solid understanding of DIFC compliance regulations and governance practices
- Proven ability to manage audits, oversee cash flow, and supervise overall financial operations
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
