About the Role:

 We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager / Senior Manager – Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in events, exhibitions, or interior fit-out estimation and will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of project costings and bids. This role demands strong technical understanding, creative problem-solving, and the ability to lead and collaborate across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Evaluation

• Review and interpret interior design, fit-out, and exhibition plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with design and project teams to understand creative intent and technical needs.

Cost Estimation

• Develop comprehensive and precise cost estimates including materials, labor, and specialized elements.
• Use industry benchmarks and historical data to ensure estimate accuracy.

Bid Preparation

• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals in response to RFPs/RFQs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to source the most competitive quotes.

Creative Solutions & Value Engineering

• Work with designers to propose cost-effective alternatives without compromising aesthetics or functionality.
• Provide innovative solutions that align with project goals and budgets.

Industry Insight

• Stay up to date with materials, trends, and technologies in the interior design and exhibition space.
• Apply technical knowledge to refine estimation practices.

Communication & Presentation

• Liaise effectively with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.
• Present estimates and proposals with clarity, outlining scope, considerations, and unique project elements.

Risk Management

• Identify potential risks in estimation and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support the project team in addressing unforeseen challenges.

 Leadership & Team Development

• Mentor junior estimators and foster a collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the interior fit-out, events, or exhibition industry.
• Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in estimation tools and software relevant to the industry.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
