A leading manufacturing and engineering organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Manager – Quality & Operational Excellence to lead continuous improvement initiatives across its manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in quality management, operational excellence, Lean methodologies, and process improvement.
The successful candidate will drive quality enhancement, reduce process variation, improve operational performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, cost efficiency, waste reduction, turnaround time, and customer performance.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), DMAIC, and structured process improvement projects.
• Drive initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and process variation.
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving sessions and continuous improvement workshops.
• Monitor Quality and Operational KPIs to ensure performance targets are achieved.
• Lead process standardization and operational control initiatives.
• Track and validate measurable benefits from improvement projects.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other business functions.
• Support the development of a strong Continuous Improvement culture across the organization.
Requirements:
• 8–14 years of Manufacturing Quality and Operational Excellence experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent).
• Strong experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies.
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Hands-on knowledge of the 7 QC Tools, FMEA, SPC, and Process Capability.
• Experience with Process Mapping and Value Stream Mapping.
• Strong KPI management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable operational improvement projects.
• Previous UAE/GCC experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies
• Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, SPC, and the 7 QC Tools
• Process Mapping, KPI management, and Operational Excellence
