AbbVie is on the lookout for a dynamic Manager, Accounts I to join its team in a fully remote role. The mission at AbbVie is to bring forward life-changing innovations and treatments in areas such as immunology, oncology, neuroscience, and aesthetics. As part of this mission, the Account Manager will play a key role in facilitating compliant, strategic, and high-impact consulting engagements across various therapeutic areas.

You’ll be the central point of contact partnering with stakeholders across the business—helping them develop and execute consulting agreements aligned with global compliance and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic advisor for assigned therapeutic areas, managing all facets of HCP/Customer consulting engagements globally.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to align on strategy and ensure accurate planning and timely approval of annual consulting plans.
  • Guide internal teams on how to effectively scope consulting programs to meet both tactical and strategic needs.
  • Evaluate and approve contract requests ensuring the validity and business rationale of consulting activities.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of consultancy engagements while ensuring compliance with AbbVie’s standards and country-specific regulations.
  • Monitor and report on program progress, flagging risks and delays proactively to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support the development of standardized communications and maintain training materials in various formats.
  • Collaborate on departmental and cross-functional initiatives such as platform testing and new process rollouts.
  • Seek opportunities to optimize and streamline operational workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize according to business urgency.
  • Demonstrates initiative and is comfortable taking ownership of tasks independently.
  • Proven ability to maintain professionalism and exceed expectations in a customer-facing environment.
  • Sound understanding of U.S. and Global compliance policies related to consulting engagements, speaker training, and related activities.
  • Capable of offering practical solutions and backup plans to keep projects on track.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with stakeholders from Legal, Medical Affairs, R&D, Public Affairs, and more.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated salary range: $72,000–$146,000 per year.
  • Eligible for performance-based incentives and short-term bonus programs.
