Description:
A company in Jubail, Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified Logistics Specialist to join its Field Service Team. This role is suitable for professionals with hands-on experience in logistics, warehouse operations, shipment coordination, inventory control, and material movement.
The successful candidate will support field service operations by ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, and spare parts. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage logistics activities efficiently while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, tools, and spare parts required for field service operations.
• Support receiving, storage, issuance, dispatch, and delivery activities.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and verify shipment documents, packing lists, delivery notes, and related records.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records and logistics documentation.
• Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with warehouses, procurement teams, suppliers, transporters, and field service personnel.
• Monitor material availability and support timely replenishment of required items.
• Assist with inventory counts and resolve stock discrepancies when required.
• Update logistics and inventory information through WMS/ERP systems.
• Maintain proper documentation and traceability of materials and equipment.
• Support improvements in logistics processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Good understanding of logistics processes, warehousing, inventory control, and material movement.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems is preferred.
• Experience in shipment coordination and documentation preparation is preferred.
• Knowledge of receiving, dispatching, storing, and tracking materials and equipment.
• Ability to coordinate transportation and deliveries for field service requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple teams and suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle urgent operational requirements.
• Awareness of HSE requirements for warehouse and logistics operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
