Description:
Mass Allied Freighters is currently hiring an experienced Logistics Officer to join its dynamic operations team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is suited for a highly skilled logistics professional with strong UAE experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance, and port operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics activities, ensuring smooth shipment flow, handling documentation, and coordinating with various authorities, clients, and service providers. The company is looking for a proactive individual with strong operational expertise and the ability to handle complex logistics processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily logistics operations and manage shipment activities efficiently
• Handle customs clearance procedures and complete all required documentation accurately
• Process approvals and coordinate with Dubai Municipality and relevant authorities
• Manage port operations and container movements through DP World and Jebel Ali Port
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Communicate shipment updates with clients, suppliers, transporters, and shipping lines
• Coordinate with customs officials, freight agents, and logistics partners
• Resolve operational challenges and ensure smooth workflow across logistics processes
• Monitor import and export documentation and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
• Support overall logistics team coordination and operational efficiency
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in logistics and freight operations is required
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Customs procedures, documentation, and clearance processes
• Experience with Dubai Municipality approvals is required
• Hands-on experience with DP World and Jebel Ali Port operations
• Familiarity with import/export documentation and logistics compliance procedures
• Strong coordination skills with clients, transporters, shipping lines, and authorities
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment
• UAE driving license will be considered an advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills and operational decision-making ability
