Description:

NGC & CO LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the complete import cycle of architectural surface materials from global suppliers. The role involves handling shipments from Europe, the Far East, and the USA into Dubai operations.

The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination between suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities while maintaining accurate tracking of shipments and logistics documentation. You will play a key role in optimizing shipping efficiency and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

▪️ Coordinate orders and shipments with international suppliers across Europe, China, Japan, the USA, and other key markets

▪️ Manage the full import process including order confirmation, production tracking, shipment booking, documentation, customs clearance, and final delivery

▪️ Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers

▪️ Prepare and handle all shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and UAE customs paperwork

▪️ Track shipments and provide timely updates on ETAs and potential delays

▪️ Optimize shipping methods (sea, air, LCL/FCL) based on urgency and cost efficiency

▪️ Maintain accurate records of landed costs, duties, and shipping expenses

▪️ Resolve discrepancies, damages, and claims with suppliers and logistics partners

Requirements:

▪️ 2–5 years of experience in international logistics or import coordination within the UAE

▪️ Hands-on experience with imports from Europe, the Far East, and the USA

▪️ Strong knowledge of:
 ▪️ Incoterms
 ▪️ Letters of credit
 ▪️ UAE customs procedures

▪️ Experience with Dubai Customs, Jebel Ali operations, and the Dubai Trade portal

▪️ Solid understanding of freight forwarding, sea and air shipping, and cargo consolidation

▪️ Strong Excel and ERP skills; Salesforce experience is an advantage

▪️ Must currently be in the UAE with a valid visa and available for immediate joining
