Description:
NGC & CO LLC is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the complete import operations of architectural materials into its Dubai-based operations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in international logistics and a deep understanding of global supply chain processes.
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire import lifecycle, coordinating with global suppliers, and ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of goods from multiple international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate orders and shipments with suppliers across Europe, China, Korea, Japan, the USA, and other international markets
• Manage the full import process including order confirmation, production follow-up, shipment booking, documentation, customs clearance, and final delivery
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant shipments
• Prepare and handle all shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and UAE customs documents
• Monitor shipments closely and provide regular updates on estimated arrival times and any potential delays
• Optimize shipping methods (sea, air, LCL, FCL) based on cost efficiency and urgency
• Maintain accurate records of shipping costs, duties, and overall landed expenses
• Address and resolve issues related to shipment discrepancies, damages, or claims with suppliers and logistics partners
Requirements:
• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in international logistics or import coordination within the UAE
• Proven experience managing imports from Europe, the Far East, and the USA
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, letters of credit, and UAE customs regulations
• Familiarity with Dubai Customs procedures, Jebel Ali operations, and the Dubai Trade portal
• Solid understanding of freight forwarding processes, including sea and air shipping and cargo consolidation
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems; experience with Salesforce is an added advantage
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
