Description:
AXALAR Trading FZE is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support its daily logistics and supply chain operations at JAFZA, Dubai.
The successful candidate will work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, suppliers, and customers while ensuring efficient shipment handling and customs compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and verify invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, delivery notes, and shipping documentation.
• Coordinate customs declarations and JAFZA clearance procedures.
• Request freight quotations and prepare landed cost calculations.
• Track shipments from pickup through final delivery.
• Supervise warehouse loading and unloading activities.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of UAE logistics or freight forwarding experience.
• Hands-on experience with JAFZA and Dubai Customs.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Incoterms
• HS Codes
• Shipping documentation
