The company is currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Licensing Specialist to support the licensing and credentialing processes for behavioral health practitioners. This role plays a key part in ensuring providers are properly licensed, compliant, and able to deliver care across multiple states.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced remote environment, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and maintain accuracy while handling sensitive provider information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage initial and renewal state licensing processes for healthcare providers
• Research and verify state-specific licensing requirements to ensure accurate and complete applications
• Monitor license expiration dates and support providers in timely renewals
• Ensure all licensing applications are processed accurately and without delays
• Communicate proactively with internal teams and stakeholders regarding license status updates
• Track and monitor applications to prevent processing delays
• Ensure compliance with all state requirements for multi-state provider licensing
• Handle confidential provider information with strict privacy and security standards
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• 2–3 years of experience in provider licensing, credentialing, or enrollment processes
• Multi-state licensing experience is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and task management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage detailed regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Comfortable working in a fully remote team environment
Position Details:
• 100% Remote role
• Full-time, non-exempt position
• Reports to Senior Director, Medical Affairs
