Hiring: English-Speaking Legal Associate – UAE Law Expert
JM Advocates & Legal Consultants is seeking a highly competent and motivated Legal Associate to join its expanding legal team in Dubai. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong expertise in UAE law who is passionate about litigation, legal research, and client advisory services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of legal matters while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft legal memoranda, defense pleadings, legal notices, and formal legal opinions in English
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on UAE laws and regulations
- Develop effective case strategies and provide clear, practical legal advice to clients
- Represent clients in litigation matters and coordinate with local authorities and judicial bodies
- Manage multiple cases and responsibilities efficiently while meeting strict deadlines
Requirements:
- At least three years of professional experience with well-established law firms in the UAE
- Strong and practical knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and legal procedures
- Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality legal documentation in English
- Native or fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; advanced legal qualifications are considered an advantage
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
- Hands-on experience in court litigation and dealings with government authorities
- High level of integrity, discretion, and adherence to professional ethics
