The Leave Payroll Analyst plays a key role within Sparrow’s Customer Experience team by supporting accurate payroll and leave calculations for customers. This position contributes directly to building reliable payroll plans, improving system accuracy, and ensuring timely and precise payroll support for clients across various industries.

This is a collaborative and detail-focused role where you will work closely with internal teams and external customer payroll departments. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, working with data, and contributing to product and process improvements in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized payroll plans and payroll reconciliations for customer leave cases

• Support leave specialists with accurate payroll calculations and processing

• Ensure payroll data and calculations are correctly reflected in the Sparrow system

• Collaborate with onboarding and customer payroll teams to understand requirements

• Assist in setting up payroll schedules, workflows, and configuration plans

• Gather and share product feedback to improve payroll systems and processes

• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to workflows and integrations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and support

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or data operations

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, functions, and formatting

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote, and evolving environment
