The Leave Payroll Analyst I will join Sparrow’s Customer Experience team, playing a key role in supporting payroll and leave specialists by preparing customized payroll calculations, plans, and reconciliations for clients. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working with data, spreadsheets, and cross-functional collaboration.
This position also contributes to product improvement by identifying inefficiencies, sharing feedback, and supporting enhancements in payroll systems and workflows. It is a dynamic role that blends analytical work with customer-facing collaboration in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare payroll calculations and customized payroll plans for customer leave cases
• Support leave specialists with payroll reconciliations and data accuracy
• Ensure payroll plans are correctly configured in the Sparrow platform
• Collaborate with leave specialists, onboarding teams, and internal departments
• Communicate with customer payroll teams to ensure smooth implementation
• Assist in setting up payroll schedules, workflows, and configurations
• Identify process improvements and contribute to product enhancement ideas
• Provide feedback to improve payroll systems and operational efficiency
Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or data operations
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas and data formatting
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and adapt
