Description:
Vista Global Solutions, LLC is currently seeking a Learning Analytics Specialist to support the ongoing mission with the Uniformed Services University (USU). This position is a fully remote opportunity within the United States and requires the candidate to be a U.S. citizen.

The Learning Analytics Specialist will take the lead in designing and implementing a comprehensive learning analytics framework for the institution. The role includes developing systems to capture, normalize, analyze, and visualize data related to student performance across academic and clinical environments. Collaboration with faculty, researchers, and stakeholders will be crucial to ensure data-driven insights enhance instructional outcomes and support institutional strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a robust architecture for collecting and analyzing learning data across USU programs.
• Integrate and normalize data from diverse sources including admissions, learning management systems (Canvas, Sakai), MedHub, simulation centers, and standardized testing platforms.
• Implement and optimize tools and standards such as xAPI, Caliper, Learning Record Stores (LRS), Google BigQuery, and Total Learning Architecture (TLA).
• Partner with faculty and researchers to identify relevant educational data points and define visualization best practices.
• Create visual dashboards and analytical reports that foster data-informed decision-making.
• Support institutional planning and curriculum enhancement by translating raw data into meaningful insights aligned with the USU Strategic Plan.

Requirements:

• Eligibility for Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in learning analytics or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in data visualization techniques and tools.
• Experience with xAPI, Caliper, LRS, and data warehousing platforms such as Google BigQuery.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms (Canvas, Sakai), MedHub, and simulation-based education tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across academic and technical teams.
• Experience in higher education or health sciences/medical education preferred.
