Lead – Finance Special Projects

The Lead – Finance Special Projects plays a key role in driving targeted process improvement initiatives across the Finance function. This position partners closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, design solutions, and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency, optimize operations, and support the adoption of emerging technologies.
This role acts as a catalyst for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across Finance, contributing to both strategic priorities and day-to-day operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies and their application within Finance, with a focus on process and organizational improvements
• Lead and deliver special projects including benchmarking studies, process redesign, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements
• Partner with Finance teams and stakeholders to evaluate existing processes, recommend improvements, and execute approved solutions
• Facilitate collaboration and best-practice sharing across Finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency
• Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery
• Support change management by developing training materials, communications, and capability-building initiatives
• Prepare clear reports and presentations to communicate project outcomes, insights, and recommendations to leadership
• Track, measure, and report key performance indicators and value metrics related to process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 6+ years of experience in process improvement, benchmarking, project management, or transformation initiatives, ideally within Finance or a corporate environment
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience leading projects
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Experience with process design methodologies, automation tools, and reporting solutions is highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and proactive working style
• Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries is preferred
• Strong passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
Additional Information:
• This is a remote position; however, occasional travel to company offices for meetings or training may be required
• Scheduled weekly hours: 40
