Overview:
Imperial, LLC. — a provider of vending solutions across commercial and industrial sites — is hiring a dedicated Lead Data Entry Specialist to oversee data accuracy and lead a small remote team. This role combines hands-on data entry with basic supervisory duties, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time while supporting team members with guidance and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate records across company systems.
  • Review and verify data to detect and correct errors or inconsistencies.
  • Supervise a small team of 2–5 data entry clerks: assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide coaching and basic training to team members and be the first point of contact for questions.
  • Perform routine quality checks and reconciliation to maintain high data integrity.
  • Generate simple reports or summaries for supervisors or project managers as required.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and project leads regarding status, issues, and escalations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in data entry or related administrative roles.
  • Prior leadership or team-coordination experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Typing speed of at least 45 WPM and solid computer skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
