Job Title – L1 Support Engineer

An established organization in Dubai is seeking a motivated and technically skilled L1 Support Engineer to join its IT support team. This role is open only to candidates currently based in the UAE and who are available to join immediately. Role Overview:
The L1 Support Engineer will be responsible for providing first-level technical assistance, handling desktop and network-related issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of basic networking concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 support for desktop systems, networks, and basic IT infrastructure.
  • Assist in troubleshooting routers, switches, LAN/WAN connectivity, and network-related issues.
  • Support Windows desktop environments and resolve user-reported technical problems.
  • Handle basic networking tasks involving TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams when required.
  • Maintain proper documentation of issues, resolutions, and support activities.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in networking and desktop support.
  • Good understanding of core networking concepts and protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • CCNA or equivalent networking certification will be an added advantage.
