Description:
We’re seeking a proactive Junior Purchase Executive to support procurement operations across our UAE operations.
Job Summary:
Assist the purchasing team with sourcing vendors, processing purchase orders, and tracking inventory to ensure timely supply of goods and services. You will coordinate with suppliers, follow up on deliveries, and support cost-control and vendor relationship efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support end-to-end purchase order processing and maintain accurate procurement records.
– Communicate with vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate terms, and confirm delivery schedules.
– Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts.
– Assist in evaluating vendor performance and escalating issues to senior procurement staff.
– Help prepare purchase reports, maintain procurement databases, and update ERP entries as required.
– Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, and clinical departments) to ensure requirements are met.
– Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Skills & Requirements:
– Strong communication and negotiation skills.
– Experience in vendor management and inventory control.
– Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).
– Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement; healthcare sector experience is preferred.
– Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
