Overview
We are seeking a resourceful Junior Procurement Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience sourcing a broad range of goods across local and international markets and the ability to manage fast-moving and varied procurement requests with professionalism and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate and onboard suppliers both locally and internationally.
- Procure a wide variety of items — from specialty components to higher-end/luxury products — ensuring suitability and quality.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, lead times and delivery terms to meet business requirements.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Track deliveries, follow up with vendors and resolve delivery or quality issues as they arise.
- Conduct market research to identify alternative suppliers and spot cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–4 years’ proven experience in procurement or sourcing.
- Strong market research, supplier evaluation and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple, varied procurement requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
