ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are hiring a Junior Logistics Executive to support day-to-day logistics activities in our Dubai office. The successful candidate will assist with shipment coordination, documentation and follow-up to ensure timely deliveries within the UAE and the wider GCC market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Logistics Coordination — Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring logistics and supply-chain activities.
- Shipment Tracking — Track consignments and follow up to ensure on-time deliveries across UAE & GCC routes.
- Vendor Liaison — Communicate with shipping agents, transporters and warehouse teams to coordinate movements.
- Documentation — Prepare and manage shipping documents, invoices and customs paperwork for imports/exports.
- Record Keeping — Maintain accurate logistics records and update tracking and status reports.
- Issue Resolution — Help resolve delivery delays, shortages or discrepancies and escalate where necessary.
- Cross-Functional Support — Work closely with sales and procurement to align logistics with commercial needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on logistics experience in the UAE (mandatory).
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with import/export documentation and UAE customs procedures.
- Skills: Strong organization, multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Tools: Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Work Style: Able to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Salary: AED 4,500 – 5,000 per month.
