Description:
Algebra Contracting is seeking a motivated Junior Estimator (Fresher) to join our growing fit-out and CNC operations team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to build a strong career in estimation, CAD-based quantity take-offs, AutoCAD drawings, CNC production coordination, fit-out, and procurement within a professional and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project drawings, BOQs, and specifications
- Prepare material take-offs and cost estimates using CAD drawings
- Create and modify CAD drawings and shop drawings as required
- Assist in pricing labor, materials, CNC works, and subcontract packages
- Coordinate with site teams, design, CAD drafting, CNC operations, and procurement departments
- Support supplier sourcing and price comparisons
- Receive training on CNC operations and provide backup support for CNC production when needed
- Maintain organized estimation and project documentation
- Handle basic client and internal queries related to costing and estimates
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Freshers are encouraged to apply
- Good communication skills in English
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / CAD software (Mandatory)
- Ability to prepare basic drawings and shop drawings
- Basic knowledge of fit-out and CNC fabrication (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Knowledge of UAE industry practices is an advantage
