Description:

A growing organization in the UAE is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Chemist to join its research and development team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about chemistry, laboratory work, and product development.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting laboratory testing, documentation, and product evaluation activities. The role also involves assisting in regulatory compliance tasks, preparing technical documents, and contributing to ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Technical Data Sheets (TDS)

• Conduct laboratory testing, product evaluation, and sample analysis

• Support product formulation, research, and development activities

• Coordinate with external laboratories for product testing and performance evaluation

• Review product labels, claims, and technical documentation for accuracy

• Maintain laboratory records, reports, and test results

• Ensure compliance with UAE and GCC regulatory standards

• Collaborate with Quality Control, Production, and Regulatory teams

• Assist in raw material evaluation and product stability studies

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the R&D department

• Follow all laboratory safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field

• 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates welcome)

• Knowledge of SDS/TDS preparation and GHS standards is an advantage

• Familiarity with UAE and GCC regulations preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

• Strong knowledge of:

• Laboratory testing and chemical analysis procedures

• Regulatory compliance and documentation standards

• Product safety, quality control, and R&D processes
